AthensBook is the definitive free smart city guide for those traveling or living in Athens, Greece. It provides timely, accurate and personalized information on a wide range of utility and entertainment categories, including:
Open Pharmacies and Hospitals, Gas Stations (including recent prices), Open Public Services, Restaurants, Bars and Nightlife, ATMs and Banks, Wine Cellars and Patisseries, Museums and Archæological sites, Super Markets, Taxi stations and radio taxis, Public transportation, nearby doctors, real-time traffic conditions and Cinemas (including showtimes and movie information!)
A plethora of filtering and sorting options, mapping and one-tap dialing is provided for most categories. You can mark your favorite places in a number of categories, rate bars and restaurants & post tips -- with additional social features coming soon!
Also: a smart search feature allows you to get quick information from a variety of categories right from your AthensBook home screen.
* AthensBook requires you to create a username and password the first time you use it. This takes less than a minute, requires no personal information, allows you to take advantage of the new and upcoming social features, and helps you retrieve your favorite places as you migrate to new devices or in case you need to restore your device. Entering an email address is optional, but it will help you retrieve your password in case you forget it.
